SHEETS & COILS
A sheet is a sheet obtained by rolling slabs in turn obtained by a continuous casting of liquid metal, the sheet is called "from train", in the second from coil ". The coil, an English term that means "coil", is therefore a coil of thin metal tape wrapped in a series of coils. Sider Pre is specializes in sheets of various types and of high quality. By consulting our manuals you will find the sheet that best meets your needs, from thick sheets for platforms to padded sheets for cladding or attics. The sheets are hot-rolled from train and coils, corrugated for roofs, galvanized with electrolytic tinplate.
CORRUGATED SHEETS FOR FLOORS, WALLS AND ROOFS
The corrugated sheet is a corrugated metal sheet, with a different profile: the choice of this profile is not merely aesthetic, but responds to very specific requirements of mechanical resistance. It is precisely the fret that increases the resistance of the sheet to any bending effort.
Corrugated sheets offer two indispensable advantages, which are the perfect structural elements for a series of applications: from roofs to floors, passing through coverings and false ceilings.
they are thin products (with thicknesses generally varying between 0.4 and 3 mm).
COLD ROLLED SHEETS
Cold rolled sheet is used specifically for cold applications. It is used in each of the typologies of the aforementioned applications, without particular distinction, from bending to deep drawing.
Cold rolling is a mechanical working process at room temperature, or nearly so, performed to reduce the thickness of the sheet.
